Privacy policy

Last updated

This policy covers the information Teamblocks Technologies Inc. collects through our websites, teamblocks.dev and chord.teamblocks.dev, and our mailing list. We're a Canadian company, and we handle your information in line with Canadian privacy and anti-spam law (PIPEDA and CASL) and, where they apply, the GDPR and UK GDPR. For any question or request, email us at privacy@teamblocks.dev.

What we collect and why

When you sign up for our mailing list, we store your email address, when and where you signed up, and when you unsubscribe. We use it only to send you what you signed up for: releases, learnings and blog posts. We do this with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. After that, we keep only what we need to make sure we don't email you again, unless you ask us to delete it.

We currently don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider sees technical details such as your IP address when you visit, in order to serve our websites and protect them from abuse.

Who else handles it

We never sell your information. Our service provider, Cloudflare, hosts our websites, stores our mailing list and sends our emails on our behalf. It may process your information in the United States or elsewhere, under a data protection agreement that includes standard contractual clauses for information from the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, or to restrict or object to how we use it. If you have a concern we haven't resolved, you can also contact the privacy regulator where you live.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes, and email subscribers before any change to how we use their information.
